    Entrants may enter the promotion multiple times at the same participating pub during the promotional period with no maximum cap on entries per person. You cannot however enter at more than one participating pub.

  • Any entry Criteria:

    Play a game of ‘Round the Clock’ in a participating pub (“Game”) and enter your Game time at www.dartscoolhandcup.co.uk (“Website”). Entrants must be aged 18 or over and must register their details on the Website to enter. All entrants with a winning time that pre-qualifies them for a chance to win one of the Main or Runner’s Up prizes may be required to participate in an additional tie break process after the Closing Date by submitting a video entry. The Promoter’s decision shall be final in these respects.

    If you are selected as being one of the top two times recorded in a region, whether as result of the playing the Game or the tie breaker, all you will be invited to attend the Grand Final Event taking place on 28.03.25 at The White Hart in Ashby, where you’ll have the chance to compete for one of our Main Prizes or Runner Up Prizes. You must be available on this date.

  • The Promoter

    1. The Promoter is Marston's PLC (company number 00031461) with its registered office at St Johns House, St Johns Square, Wolverhampton WV2 4BH (the "Promoter").

  • Entry Requirements

    2.This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland), aged 18 or over, excluding employees/directors of the Promoter, such employees/directors’ immediate families/households or anyone else professionally involved with this promotion.

    3. This is an in-pub promotion, however internet access is required to participate. Entrants are required to register their details on the Website (including name, email address, date of birth and post code) and record their ‘round the clock’ competition time and if required by the Promoter, submit a tie break video entry. The Promoter’s decision shall be final in this respect.

    How to Enter

    4. To enter, prospective entrants must scan the QR code in participating pubs or go the Website before the Closing Date and follow the instructions to play a game the Game, as follows:
    a) hit the numbers on the dartboard in sequential order, starting from 1;
    b) hit each number in order before moving on to the next. For example, you need to hit 1 before you can aim for 2;
    c) The last number is 20
    d) Finish on Bullseye

    5. Each valid entry must follow these steps:
    a) On the Website, the entrant clicks on the ‘start game’ timer;
    b) Entrant completes the Game in-pub;
    c) On the Website, the entrant clicks ‘stop’ to stop the timer;
    d) Entrant follows the online instructions to register their details, the unique pub code and submit their Game time.
    e) Entrant will be asked to choose a username which will appear on the leaderboards (the “Leaderboard Name”). An entrant will receive a temporary ID whilst their chosen Leaderboard Name is reviewed and approved. Leaderboard Names must not include anything that (in the Promoter’s opinion) is considered inappropriate, defamatory, offensive or unlawful. Any Leaderboard Names not deemed appropriate by the Promoter may result in the registration and entry being cancelled be deleted without liability to the entrant
    6. If required by the Promoter, participate in an additional tie break process by submitting a video entry.
    7. A Game time under 55 seconds will not be accepted and such entry will be deemed invalid and will be void
    8. Entrants must not use a false name or email or provide any false information when registering for use of the Website. Entrants shall not share or disclose their login details or password to any third party. The Promoter may refuse, remove, or suspend registration at any time.
    9. There is no purchase necessary.
    10. Entrants may only enter the Game via the Website and entries by email, post or facsimile will not be accepted.
    11. Any entries which have been submitted using scripts, automated systems, collaborative practices or via a third party for commercial gain will be deemed invalid.

  • The Prizes

    15. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash equivalent is available

  • The Grand Final and Competition Winners

    16. The Closing Date to submit a Game time is 13.03.2025

    17. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to contact the winning entrants to attend the Grand Final event, but if there is no response within 3 days, or the contact details are invalid, the Promoter reserves the right to re-allocate the invite to another entrant without liability to the first winner. If any entrant does not respond to a request to submit a tie break video entry in accordance with these Terms by 23:59 on 18th March 2025 , the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the entry without liability to the entrant.

    18. In the event that any winner is unable to attend the Grand Final then places will be reallocated at the Promoter discretion. Any entrant who is unable to attend the Grand Final surrenders their claim to all or any part of the prizes.

    19. If a winner is unable to attend the Grand Final due to any reason (whether that be due to matters outside their control or otherwise) they forfeit their right to participate and claim any associated prizes.

    20. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs or inconvenience incurred by winners who are unable to attend the Grand Final for any reason.

    21. The Grand Final will take place on 28.03.2025 at The White Hart, Market Street, Ashby De La Zouch LE65 1AP

    22. All Finalists will receive: - x 2 tickets to the Marston’s Grand Final on 28.03.2025 at White Hart, Ashby.
    - x 1 night accommodation at Marston’s Inns, Blue Jay, Linville Close, Derby DE21 7HX in a standard double or twin room on the night of 28.03.2025. (Any requests for accessible rooms are subject to availability on the date of the Grand Final). Each winner and their guest must comply with the booking terms which can be found here: https://www.marstonsinns.co.uk/info/booking-terms/
    - £20 meal voucher each for the winner and their guest to spend at White Hart, Ashby
    - £100 contribution towards travel costs for the purposes of traveling to the Grand Final. This is strictly limited to petrol, diesel, taxi and/or public transport costs and receipts must be produced to Marston’s when requested. Marston’s will reimburse travel costs up to £100 (for the winner and their guest jointly) within 14 days of receiving your receipts via email.
    - The winner will be responsible for all other incidental costs connected to the prize including travel costs in excess of £100, parking charges, toll charges, food, drinks and sustenance.

    23. At the Grand Final, the winners will take part in competition stages, at each stage playing ‘Round the Clock’ against each other. The winner of each match will be the person with the quickest game completion time. The winner of each match will move forwards to the next stage. The stages are as follows:
    a) Group stage qualifiers – please note the top four quickest winners will automatically qualify for the quarter finals and will not take part in the group stage qualifiers. The winners participating in the group stage qualifiers will be randomly selected to compete against each other.
    b) Quarter-finals;
    c) Semi-finals;
    d) Grand Final.

  • Data Protection and Privacy

    24. Your privacy is important to us. We will only process the personal data you provide in connection with this promotion to administer your entry and/or as otherwise required by law.     25. In accordance with the current guidelines that govern promotions in the UK, if you are a main prize winner, we may publish, or make available on request, information that confirms an award took place – that is your surname, county and, if applicable, the entry itself. You have the right to object, or to ask for less information to be made available.     26. If you are selected to participate in the Grand Final, we may use your personal data to announce the winner and for reasonable promotional purposes connected to the promotion, including recording the event and using the recording for promotional purposes.

  • Limits on the Promoter's responsibilities and Indemnities

    27. Winners agree to be fully responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and/or tax liabilities incurred in claiming and using the prizes. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or injury resulting from entry into the promotion or a winner's acceptance of the prize.

    28. Promoter will not be responsible for losses, failures or delays relating to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including (but not limited to) acts of God, war, strikes, disputes, third party website or platforms (including social media) not in its direct control or the acts or defaults of any supplier of the prizes, including non-attendance by Luke Humphries.

    29. Except for his participation in this promotion, Luke Humphries is not associated or affiliated with the Promoter in any other way.

    30. The Promoter will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury to an entrant that is not reasonably foreseeable. The Promoter's responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to an entrant under these terms and conditions or otherwise in connection with the promotion shall be limited to the value of the prize won by the entrant.

    31. The Promoter will not be responsible for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit entrants' ability to participate in the promotion. The Promoter does not guarantee that the Website will be operational on any specific device or system or that it will be error free or available all the time.

    32. The Promoter will be liable for any death or personal injury arising from its negligence. Nothing in these terms and conditions will exclude that liability or any other liability, which it is not lawful to exclude.

    33. Each entrant will indemnify (and will keep indemnified) the Promoter and its affiliates against all costs, claims, losses, damages, expenses (including legal expenses) or other liability arising as a result of a breach of these terms and conditions, negligence or any other action which imposes an unreasonable burden on the Website including (but not limited to) the use of software robots.

  • General

    34. By entering, entrants agree to these terms and conditions together with the other polices on the Website, including the terms of use.

    35. All winning entrants agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter without recompense.

    36. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    37. Subject to clause 25, the name and county of the main prize winners can be obtained for up to 6 months following the closing date by sending a self-addressed envelope to the Promoter’s address set out above citing the name of the promotion.

    38. The Promoter reserves the right to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants who the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing are in breach of these conditions.

    39. The Website may contain links to other websites, including those belonging to the Promoter's partners. These links are provided for convenience and are not under the control of the Promoter and as such we make no warranty, either expressed or implied, concerning the content of such sites including claims of infringement or that such sites are devoid of viruses or error free.

    40. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrants for doing so. Please check these terms and conditions regularly as any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Website.

    41. The rights and remedies of the Promoter under these terms and conditions are without prejudice to its rights under the law. These terms and conditions shall not create any rights or benefits enforceable by any third party by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

    42. These terms and conditions are made under English law. Any dispute or claim that an entrant or the Promoter brings in relation to or in connection with these terms and conditions or the promotion will be decided on the basis of English law by the English courts alone.
